A beautifully complex coffee with notes of Red Apple, White Grape & Cashew Nuts with a Demerara Sugar sweetness
Situated on the "Macizo Colombiano” (the Colombian Plateau), which surrounds the high peaks of Tolima and Huila, the region is an important source of water and wildlife, in addition to being prime coffee growing land.
This microlot was produced and processed by Ignacio Quintero, a smallholder member of the ASORCAFE -Inzá, Cauca producer group & provides a great showcase for what this remote and often overlooked region of Colombia has to offer.
Ignacio is one of the larger producers within the ASORCAFE group & is widely respected within the area for his commitment to quality and experimentation.
This is the second year in a row we have supported this farm and we were pleased to secure the majority of this microlot.

Processing:Washed, fermented for 24 hours & dried in beds under plastic roof.
